 Bkool Smart Go Indoor Trainer Thoughts.  So you want to start Zwifting and your looking for a value for money smart trainer? Well that’s how I ended up buying the Bkool Smart Go trainer, which was the cheaper of the Bkool Smart trainers.  So what is it?    It’s a “wheel on” indoor cycling trainer that has electronic “smarts”.  So you put your bike on it, hook up the USB sensor to your comp, run some simulator software and ride, ride and ride some more.  The electronic smarts will adjust the resistance on the wheel as the simulator goes up a hill etc.  brilliant idea and great fun … in a fitness sort of fun.  What are the good points?    .1. I like that the frame isn't a full A-frame, it has a hinged frame, which means that other size wheeled bikes can use the indoor trainer as well.   For example, we have a kids flat bar road bike which has 20" road wheels - so they can set it up on this trainer ok.  .2.  What’s this new technology on the Cannondale Synapse? So Cannondale have released an updated version of their Synapse 'endurance' road bike, particularly the carbon range, and along with this update, they have added some pretty interesting tech. They have also released a naming structure which points out what they come with - RLE.  Integrated electronics that Cannondale are calling "SmartSense". RLE stands for Radar, Lights & Electronic Shifting.  The range starts with the Synapse Carbon 4 - no integrated tech. This is followed by the Synapse Carbon 3 L which has Shimano 105 groupset and the Intergrated SmartSense Lights.  Trek Domane AL 2 Disc Overview. Recently looking at a cycling trade site I noticed this very nice looking Trek Domane AL 2 Disc advertised from a local shop at a pretty good price.  So what is the Trek Domane and what does it come with?   The Domane range is Treks 'comfort' spec road bike. What is known as Endurance geometry. Basically that means compared with its most aero model, the Madone and their lightweight model the Emonda, the Domane can handle wider tires and the handle bar will be in a slightly higher upright position.  The AL model means that the frame is made out of Aluminum, whereas the price going up the frame will would be made out of carbon. Standard the Domane AL comes with 32c tyres - while most road bikes run 23 or 25c tyres, 32c is much wider and hence much more comfortable.   The Domane comes with Mud Guard mounts as well, which will still allow for 32c tyres with the mud guard mounts, or you can squeeze in 35c tyres in without the gua...
